~ Pumpkin Decorating Day - 2016 ~

Placeholder Picture

Mary Rockwell decorated this pumpkin. It would'nt stand up on its bottom so she made this cute little...
well, I'm not sure what it is, but it's cute!

Pumpkins are donated to the club then members bring succulent cuttings along with glue guns, scissors etc and decorate the pumpkins. 2016 saw small aprons made by members, and gardening tools to go with the aprons, as another part of the Pumpkin Fundraiser. The apron portion of the fundraiser was new this year. Members individually made several aprons each and provided them for the sale day. These gardening aprons were decorated with colorful fabrics and trims.

This year we had both orange and white pumpkins.
Some of the white were a weee bit bigger.

Maybe next year we have a pumpkin decorating contest.
The winner getting a nice prize.
